Daryna Bachynska is a Ukrainian flutist active as a soloist and orchestral musician on the international stage. Born in Lviv, Ukraine, in 2000, she received her early musical training at the Solomiia Krushelnytska Lviv Specialized Music School and continued her studies at the Academy of Music in Kraków, Poland.

After successfully completing her Bachelor’s degree, the flutist pursued further studies at the Royal Conservatory of Liège, Belgium. During the winter semester of 2023/2024, she completed an exchange semester at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.

Daryna Bachynska has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Athens State Orchestra, the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Odesa Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.

She has performed at renowned festivals such as Young Euro Classic, Junge Künstler Bayreuth, Bratislava Music Festival, and the Kronberg Festival. In 2020, at the International Flute Seminar in Bruges, she was awarded a scholarship by the renowned flute maker Powell Flutes, which included a sterling silver flute headjoint.

From 2019 to 2023, Bachynska was a principal flutist of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and between 2022 and 2024 she participated in an orchestral internship with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège.

Since 2024, she has been working as a guest musician with leading Ukrainian orchestras, including the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, the Odesa National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the INSO-Lviv Orchestra, where she is engaged both as principal and piccolo flutist.

In addition to her orchestral and solo activities, Daryna Bachynska is a dedicated chamber musician and has performed at numerous cultural events and festivals, including the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, Flauti di Toscana, and FoliaMusica.

She has further refined her artistic profile through masterclasses with distinguished flutists such as William Bennett, Davide Formisano, Denis Bouriakov, Alexis Kossenko, Wally Hase, Juliette Hurel, Andrea Lieberknecht, Gaby Pas-Van Riet, and Peter Verhoyen.
